As an artist who specializes in pin-up artand the female form, I walk a tight balance of reprezenting tasteful curvy latina beauty and cultural history while avoiding exploitive imagery. She represents the strength of her ancient Puerto Rican Taino past while embracing the modern world of tribal tattoos and future Japanese culture. The tattooed words on her back are Jibara Hasta le Muerta. It's titled "Sol de Jayuya" after the Sun petroglypth found in Jayuya Puerto Rico. She is tribal, native, primative, she is sophisiticated, full of strength, dignity and modernism.
